For those of us on a budget, one of the most important things to consider when traveling is how we will get around town economically.

Public transportation is often the best way to do this, and luckily Dubai has an excellent public transportation system that includes buses, trains, and even a Metro.

To ride the bus in Dubai, all you need is a Nol card, which can be purchased at any major bus station. The metro is also a great option for getting around, and there are two main lines: the Red Line and the Green Line. Tickets can be purchased at any station.

Of course, walking is always an option, and it’s a great way to see the city. Just be sure to dress appropriately for the heat!
